National Holstein Shows: November 13-14, 2025
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair held annually in November is home to the two National Holstein Shows held in Canada, administered by Holstein Canada. Dairy cattle shows play an important role in the promotion and improvement of the Holstein breed and the National Holstein Shows (Black and White & Red and White) play an integral role in bringing together the best animals from across Canada and North America for the final show of the year.
Selection of Judges
Holstein Canada is responsible for the selection of the judges for the National Holstein shows. Holstein Canada’s Show Committee is responsible for suggesting 3 names each year for the official ballot, which is then voted on by exhibitors. One Official Judge is selected to officiate the National Red & White Holstein Show. One Official Judge is selected to officiate the National Black and White Holstein Show and the Official Judge personally selects the Associate Judge who must be an Official Judge on their respective country’s judging list.
